  • Single Song: Tap the Plus icon below the song title.
  • Song in a Playlist: Tap the three dots and choose “Add to Liked Songs.

On Desktop

There are two ways to add a song to your Liked Songs on Spotify desktop:

  • From the playlist: Hover over the song and click the Plus icon.
  • From the now playing bar: Click the Plus icon on the now playing bar at the bottom.

2. Remove a Song from Spotify Liked Songs

If there are songs in your Spotify “Liked Songs” playlist that you no longer enjoy, here’s how to remove them on your mobile and desktop devices.

On Mobile

  1. Open the Spotify app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap “Your Library” from the bottom and select the “Liked Songs” playlist.
  3. Locate the song you want to remove. Tap the three dots next to it and select “Remove from this playlist.”

3. How to Clear All Liked Songs on Spotify

Unlike other playlists, you can’t delete the “Liked Songs” playlist. To remove multiple songs or clear the entire “Liked Songs” playlist, head over to the Spotify desktop app. The mobile app currently only allows removing songs one by one. But don’t worry.   2. Select multiple or all songs to remove:
    • Select Random Songs: Hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) or Command key (Mac) and click on individual songs to select them.
    • Select Continuous Songs: Click the first song you want to remove. Then, hold down the Shift key and click the last song in the sequence. This will select all songs between the first and last clicked songs.
    • Select All Songs: Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A (Windows) or Command + A (Mac) to select all songs in the playlist.
  3. Right-click on any of the selected songs and choose “Remove from your Liked Songs” on the pop-up menu.
