And some tools generates lists in real-time, so there’s no more waiting for weekly updates.

1. Apple Music Replay

Apple Music Replay calculates your top songs, albums, artists, playlists, genres, and stations using:

  • Your listening history in Apple Music
  • The number of plays to a song, artist, album, playlist, genre, and station
  • The amount of time spent listening to a song, artist, album, playlist, genre, and station

How to see your Apple Music Replay listening stats?

How to find and share your Replay playlist?

Or go to the Replay 2024 at the bottom of Apple Music app Listen Now page to check your favorite tracks of the year. The playlist updates weekly. You can update it to your Library for easy access.

What about Apple Music Classical?

Apple Music Classical is a dedicated standalone app designed specifically for classical music enthusiasts. It is a result of Apple’s acquisition of the popular Primephonic classical music app in 2021. If you’re someone who enjoys listening to classical music, you might be curious if Apple Music Classical offers a Replay feature like the one available in the regular Apple Music app.

Unfortunately, Apple Music Classical does not have a dedicated Replay section within the app. However, there is a workaround you can try. By playing your Apple Music Replay playlist in the original Apple Music app, it will then appear in the Recently Played section of the Apple Music Classical app. However, please note that once you open the playlist in Apple Music Classical, its content will be adjusted to include only tracks available in the Apple Music Classical catalog.

As a result, any music from other genres, such as pop or hip-hop, will no longer be included in the playlist. Essentially, you will be left with a Replay playlist featuring the top classical music you have listened to throughout the year.

  1. Launch Apple Music on your device and play your existing Apple Music Replay playlist using the steps mentioned in the section above.
  2. Open the Apple Music Classical app.
  3. Navigate to the Listen Now tab and scroll down to find the Recently Played section.
  4. You should spot your Apple Music Replay playlist listed among the recently played items.
  5. If you open this playlist, it will exclusively feature classical music that you have listened to throughout the year.

Unlike Spotify Wrapped which is only available in the end of each year for a limited period, Apple Music Replay becomes available throughout the whole year and updates weekly. Spotify users who want to get access to their Spotify listening data have to turn to different Spotify stats website and apps. As Apple Music Replay is easy to access and absolutely accurate, so there is not many third-party Apple Music stats website or apps, however if you want to try, here are some choices.

2. Last.fm

App for Mac, PC, Android and iOS

1. On your Mac or PC, head to last.fm/about/trackmymusic and click DOWNLOAD NOW FOR MAC or DOWNLOAD NOW FOR WINDOWS button.

2. Download the Last.fm app and install it, then open it.

3. When prompted, connect the app to your Last.fm account. Depending on your system, you might also need to give the app permission to read what music your computer is playing.

4. Anything that you listen to in the Music app or iTunes should now automatically scrobble to Last.fm. If you open the Last.fm app while listening, it’ll tell you exactly what’s playing — the Mac app will even tell you how many times you’ve listened to that specific artist and song.

Be aware that you can scrobble only tracks that were added to your Library. Straight listening to anything at random will not scrobble.

Last.fm iOS app doesn’t work very well with Apple Music. You need to get into app manually periodically, tap Scan and upload those scrobbles. Instead, you’ll want to use a third-party app like Soor or Marvis Pro. These are alternative music apps that let you view and play your Apple Music library, and will scrobble to Last.fm while you do so. Unfortunately, neither app is free. Soor costs $6.99, while Marvis Pro is $9.99.

3. FreeYourMusic

App for Mac, PC, Linux, Android and iOS

Although FreeYourMusic is mainly used for transferring playlists between music streaming apps, it can also be used to check Apple Music stats.

Head to freeyourmusic.com to download and install the app on desktop or mobile. Open it and click Stats in the sidebar or bottom. Select Apple Music, then log into your account.

You’ll be asked to pick which playlists and albums you want FreeYourMusic to scan. You can select all to scan everything on your account, or choose some specific lists.

Click Next and let the stats process. It’ll then give you a link back to the FreeYourMusic website, which you can open to see your top songs, artists, albums and playlists for every year you’ve had an Apple Music account.

However, the link you get from FreeYourMusic mobile app only displays Recenly Played,Recently Added, Recommendations. So you’d better get the FreeYourMusic desktop app.

You can send that link to others to share your Apple Music stats with them too. You can also check out other people’s stats.

4. snd.wave

snd.wave is an iOS app that analyzes your Apple Music/iTunes library and shows you music stats, your top artists or songs, and gives users charts to visualize your music stats. This includes both bar and line charts. snd.wave analyzes your music library and presents you with stats about how you listen to music.

However, some users say it is not accurate.

5. PlayTally: Apple Music Stats – $1.99
